Yesterday I went to Safari Petshop at Ikano Power Center. I saw a donation in front of petshop. This donation was organized by SPCA Selangor (Society For Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals). I was donated RM10 and got a beg of dog foods worth RM50. My doggie tonight have a delicious foods to eat jor....hahahaha
Nowday too many animals have nowhere to go....Last year, SPCA rescued and received more than 8,000 animals from the streets, Irresponsible or abusive pet owners and breeders. Each year, the number of stray and feral animals remains overwhelming. These homeless animals dont know when their next meal will be. They are exposed to the sun and rain , road traffic and abusive people and contagious diseases on a daily basis.
In 2007, SPCA managed to re-home only 25% of the animals surrendered to us. If you are thinking about getting a pet, please get one from your local animal shelter. For every animal bought from a petshop, a shelter cat or dog loses its chance of finding a home forever.
